A warm and supportive groups of people of different backgrounds - artisans, textile makers, designers, artists, business owners, agencies, platforms, other NGOS & educators. Everyone has come together over a mutual love for traditional textiles.
Activities
Citra believes that the sustainability of traditional textiles is achieved through consistent promotion of it as an art form and part of our history. We believe that if we know how it (the textile) is made, who made it and what it means, then we will have more connection with our textiles and that we will be proud to wear them.
Citra aims to be a hub of traditional textiles information for a community of textile lovers. Our work is to gather and disseminate our findings to our members. We do this through:
Hosting enlightening workshops and textile centric gatherings for the community.
Support other textile events by promoting, contributing our knowledge, participating or sharing information to our community and network.

We welcome you to our family. We are currently offering a promotional registration fee of RM150.00 to become a LIFETIME member. This will change once we have 500 members.
